CRISTINA
Light and the way it passes through matter have always fascinated me. In the past I have chosen to work with glass precisely because of its ability to reflect light and to create, with color, very atmospheric effects.
In my laboratory, I created everything from large stained glass windows to small design objects and jewelry.
Today, while maintaining my focus on light, I embark on a new creative path with different materials and techniques.
With my “light sculptures,” I draw inspiration from nature, observing its colors and forms, and reusing what it discards: pieces of abandoned nature, dried in the sun, carried by the wind, smoothed by the waves.
Nothing really ends; everything transforms and evolves, and in this process, something becomes art.
